It is because they get their talking points from the old media. Now the old media gets their points from the Obama administration. That is what makes the left so “unified”.

Yes, that is true, but that is a consequence, I think, of having the ideologues entrenched in power on their side. The left has a coherent message to feed the media, because their ideologues who craft that message are in control. If self-serving pragmatists were in control, they would be like Republicans, deciding what message to try and put out based on opinion polls, and always being one step behind. You can never set the trend if you are always trying to react to the last one.

I think it is part of a feedback loop. The Media help create the ideologues, and a large part of the ideology is to gain control of he media.

Their ideology also has no respect for the truth, honesty, or integrity It is all about power and more power.
