As his administration searches for ways to strengthen trust between police and the communities they protect around the country in the wake of the Ferguson, Missouri shooting and protests, President Obama pledged that this particular endeavor will be "different."
"The president of the United States is deeply invested in making sure that this time is different," Mr. Obama said. "When I hear the young people around this table talk about their experiences, it violates my belief in what America can be to hear young people feeling marginalized and distrustful, even after they've done everything right. That's not who we are."

I guess Obama will hold town hall meetings in the hood, attempting a teachable moment where he explains how robbing shops, assaulting the shopkeeper, attacking police officers and going for their guns led to this tragedy. And lYing about it in the whipped up crowds afterwards led to months of 8njustice and violence. Then he will remind them that stealing tiperellos to make blunts is part of a culture of failure holding back the community from any progress. Any lbs read8ng this? Am I wrong?
The plan is simple, to push this narrative as battering ram so that law enforcement has the same diversity as the NBA. You will also hear that only a Federalized police force can be fair to minorities and immigrant communities. A majority minority federal police force won’t have any problem removing guns from those bitter clingers nor serving a warrant in the dead of night to send them to be reeducated. A Federalized Police Force answerable only to Obama that’s the goal.
He is moving towards federal control of local police forces.

I am from Oakland...a white dude. Don’t do stupid sh*t and the police won’t mess with you. Don’t attack the police and they won’t shoot you. I saw so much whining when I was growing up....and I couldn’t understand it because we were livig the same exact experience...same schools, same neighborhood....same everything.
My experience is that most police officers are very good at their job and decent people. Do they have a certain arrogance and come off a ‘prick’ sometimes? I suppose, but those are the sorts of people who become police officers and the kind of people who have the nerve to be police officers.
By the way, i was getting money out of ATM years ago and some black kids started giving me crap. To my thrill and gratitude, two cops pulled up behind the kids and asked them to move on. They were both black cops. Again, most cops are nice hard working people...and probably a bit edgy.
President Obama is making an ass out of himself playing this Ferguson thing up. He may get a few more ‘gangster’ votes, but many working class whites, blacks, and hispanics know a con-man when they see it.
The only trust Obummer wants to build the the trust that the black criminal underclass will have that the police will fear to arrest or interfere with them. The Kenyan is trying to recreate Mau Mau.
Many changes since I graduated from Henrietta some 45 years ago.

Wouldn’t it be cool if the monarch revealed the details of these sad “stories” so they could be verified?
Someone I know well spent a college internship conducting a “prisoner interview project”. Seems every last inmate in the state pen reported being INNOCENT, FRAMED, AND WRONGLY CONVICTED. Message for Obama: miscreants are on the Frequent Liar Program, just like you.
