Lt. Col. Allen West was a guest on Fox News Channel’s On The Record with Greta Van Susteren Tuesday night when he slammed President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder for their inconsistency in talking about the injustice of white-on-black crimes while ignoring black-on-white crimes in this country.

What I do find very hypocritical is that President Obama nor Eric Holder have said anything about the four black gang members who brutally carjacked and took Captain Kevin Quick, a Virginia reserve police officer, and murdered him. We did not hear them say anything about the nineteen-year-old New Jersey teenager, Brendan Devlin, who was gunned down by a black self-proclaimed jihadist. We have heard them say nothing about the two black teenagers that bludgeoned to death a World War II Okinawa veteran out in Spokane, Washington. Nor about the black teenager who shot a young toddler in the face in Brunswick, Georgia. So I think that the country has to really get tired of this cherry-picking of these instances of their perceived social justice and their own agenda that they are trying to use for their own elevation. And this really is getting quite despicable. West said to Van Susteren that there is no political benefit for Obama and Holder in citing these particular crimes.

Not only do the Obama-Holder demagogues emphasize white-on-black crime but it appears to me that the Obama-Holder Dept. of Just Us supresses statisitics about black-on-white crime. The FBI still has its homicide data that include race of victim and offender but..

for years through 2008 the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Statistics released the stats on Criminal Victimization in the United States containing statistical tables with Table 42: "Percent distribution of single-offender victimizations, by type of crime, race of victim, and perceived race of offender" that showed an inordinate amount of black-on-white crime in some crime categories.

Table 42 even showed that white-on-black sexual assaults statistically were zero. But there is a statistical explanation for that.

Below I include a table with the survey results accumulated for 1973 - 1982; it includes an explanation of how the survey works and what they did to try to get enough sexual assaults data by using ten years of statistical samples.

I have posted the Table 42 data for years 1995 through 2008. But here I will include just the links to the BJS files. Since 2009 Table 42 data are no longer made public that I can find. IMO the Obama-Holder Dept. of Just Us will not release facts that disturb their racial demagoguery.

Information on how the U.S. Dept. of Justice National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) works. It might explain why the sexual assault data are so controversial (lack of enough victims to develop stats for the whole population). But it's been that way for decades; nevertheless apparently the Obama-Holder Dept. of Just Us stopped making the information public in 2009.

"In the course of twice-a-year interviews conducted with more than 125,000 people each year in the National Crime Survey, only about 100 cases of rape or attempted rape are reported. When the sample is compared to the size of the general population, it is estimated that each reported incident represents about 1,200 rapes or rape attempts that took place across the country. Nevertheless, 100 cases are too few for detailed statistical analysis. To obtain enough information for a detailed examination of the crime of rape, all cases of female rape reported in the National Crime Survey from 1973 through 1982 were aggregated into a single data set. The set consists of 1,082 cases representing a national total of 1.5 million instances of rape or attempted rape during the decade."

That's true.. nevertheless I think I am sure that it is no surprise that whites are murdered by blacks by more than two-to-one. Factoring in the fact that whites overwhelmingly outnumber blacks is beyond my math.

If you normalize the statistics to take into account the relative sizes of the populations, Here are the numbers that reflect the real magnitude of Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime:

Furthermore, if you narrow the statistics shown above on violent assault (GENERAL VIOLENT ASSAULT) to a specific type of violent assault (IN THE CASE BELOW, VIOLENT AGGRAVATED ASSAULT) , the statistics that Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime take on an entirely different magnitude:

When one looks at these statistics, one can only reach the same conclusion that Bill Whittle did in his video:
"Oh, there's an epidemic of racial violence in America, all right."

I do not doubt this. I have actually seen more animosity WITHIN racial/ethnic/religious groups. In my old stomping grounds in Rockland Cty, NY I've seen it between "native born" Blacks and those from the Carribean, Puerto Ricans and Mexicans, amongst the Hasidic sects, etc.

My mistake. That graphic simply shows the relative sizes of the black and white populations in this country today.

One might read it and think it deals with criminal populations, it doesn't (obviously) but the overall population in general, to illustrate why the statistics need to be normalized to show the true magnitude of the issue.

I do not question the numbers. I've posted tables with similar numbers from NCVS surveys from other years and from FBI homicide stats.

However I cannot find the victim-offender races (white-on-black, black-on-white) numbers in National Crime Victimization Survey Criminal Victimization, 2010

I see victim-offender by use of weapons, by strangers, by relationship but not race. I am not questioning the numbers --

I am merely trying to ascertain did I overlook the fact that Table 42 data still exists in National Crime Victimization Survey Criminal Victimization files beyond 2008.

I forklifted this, format, logic, and all, out of the Bill Whittle video, so I cannot validate that they are or are not correct. (I respect and trust Bill Whittle, because I believe he speaks the truth that is often not being spoken.)

But I am certain beyond any doubt that these statistics are indeed collected when crimes are committed, so I am pretty sure they are there at the federal government level.

LOL, they collect so damn much racial and gender data, it is incomprehensible to me that they would not collect that data on something as important as this.

What is not incomprehensible is that they would not make it readily available on a government run website accessible to any citizen with an Internet connection. Facts often get in the way of what this government wants to do, so deception by omission is not out of the question for me.

I spent an hour or so looking for the source. These numbers are all over the 'Net but nowhere can I find the source.

Everyone simply lists something like "DoJ Criminal Victimization Survey for 2010" with no hyperlink to a file -- some point to Mr.Whittle.

I watched the video and got not a clue how he got the numbers from that 2010 Survey.

Here are figures from the past but just one category of interracial crime.

It's the Table 42 in DoJ Criminal Victimization Survey that I say since 2008 is no longer allowed to be made public by the Obama-Holder Dept. of Just Us. At least I cannot find it.
