GOP Staffer Apologizes For Lecturing Obama Daughters To 'Show A Little Class'
Gawker.com on Huffington Post ^

Dear Sasha and Malia, I get you’re both in those awful teen years, but you’re a part of the First Family, try showing a little class. At least respect the part you play. Then again your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I’m guessing you’re coming up a little short in the ‘good role model’ department. Nevertheless, stretch yourself. Rise to the occasion. Act like being in the White House matters to you. Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at a bar. And certainly don’t make faces during televised public events.

Where are those poor kids going to learn class from?

Certainly not their parents.

I wouldn’t expect anything more of those ones.

Kids should be left out of things. They naturally think what their parents teach them to think. That’s as it should be.

Comments at the site are just great. In a nutshell: “The Bush daughters were worse!”

Kids should be left out of things.

What if instead a very famous person on national TV said that her getting BEAT UP was FUNNY..?

What would they have said?

It happened to the Palins.

Remember when Letterman joked about 14-year-old Willow Palin GETTING RAPED...?

Funny, huh..?

What if the most famous comic in the USA said, "It would be really funny if Sasha Obama got RAPED..!"

How long would that guy be on TV..?

Normally I’d say leave the kids alone, but in this case maybe they could use some guidance considering how lacking their parents are as positive role models.

Yeah like the Bush daughters were left out of it.

Not to mention the Palin children.

At least nobody joked about raping these two girls.

I dunno, to me the young one looks like her dad and the older one looks like her ma. Were I either, I’d ask for either a do-over or a refund...

My normal and natural inclination is to leave kids out of the discussion.
Yet that is because I am a sane, calm, and rational Conservative...like all of us here.
The viciousness directed at the Palin children was relentless and outrageous.

How about when CNN’s Carol Costello said Bristol Palin getting beat-up made for the BEST minute of audio she had EVER come across (YouTube, 90-second clip):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOJTLjkQGJw

She was giggling and GIDDY.

How ridiculous. I don't see any "classlessness" here. Considering what a lot of kids wear these days, these outfits seem extremely conservative. What a thing to get riled up over, when there are so many REAL ones to get upset about!

Regardless of the apology, the damage was done. People looked at the photos that the staffer was referring to.....and eventually agreed.
