The state is a cesspool of liberalism, political correctness, toxic waste, and oppressive gun laws.

No amount of 'tax slashing cuts' would convince me to stay there.

As someone who was born and raised in New York let me say - New Jersey sucks. Comedian Robert Klein called northern NJ “50 miles of universal fart”.

I know a few people in NJ. Their property taxes are in the $15,000 a year range. They have to ask permission to buy a each and every firearm. Their courts are so liberal as to be ineffective. Why stay? I know these guys are all looking to move out.

P.S. They also are not allowed by law to pump their own gas. Must have an attendant do it. How stupid is that?

NJ was a good place to live in the 40s and 50s.

Do you pay the same or more for that privilege?

In NY you pay more. FULL SERVICE vs SELF-SERVICE.

I don’t know if there is a premium added. I would expect there is. I’ve never compared their prices to ours out here in Colorado.

Slashing taxes all around would be a small beginning, maybe.
Deporting the entire state government and big city governments to Antarctica would be more useful.

Stop making it the liberal playground of wackos from NYC and Philly.

I’d vote for him over Christie.

A tax cutting Democrat is a rarity.

He’s made of the “right stuff.”

New Jersey’s sales tax is one of the highest in the nation, at 7 percent, behind only California’s 7.95 percent sales tax.

Huh? It's actually cheaper than NYC, which if 8.875%, and (unless they've changed it in the past few years) it doesn't apply to clothing in NJ.

New Jersey is where Brooklynites go to die.

People used to move from NY to NJ for the room.

I couldn’t afford $15,000 a year property taxes and no one could.

NJ’s political importance as a source of EV will decline.

I say tax 'em everytime they drop an f-bomb. Might not make much money, but it would improve the language spoken there.

Conservative New Jerseyians are welcome in Texas. Not so for the libs.

Restore moral, just, constitutional self-government. Restore liberty. Throw out any public official who refuses to do that.

There. Problem solved.

They have to ask permission to buy a each and every firearm.

I'm going through this miserable process now, and your statement is not technically true. You have to go through a thorough proctology exam to get a firearms purchase card which is good forever and permits long barrel firearm purchases (rifles, shotguns) without going back for more "permission" in the form of licensing or checks.

However for handguns, you can only get a purchase license for a specified number of handguns (I think no more than five or six) and it is only good for something like 90 days, after which you have to go through the proctology exam again if you want another.

The process has questionnaires being sent to all sorts of references who will get to say whether they object to you having a firearm. So basically my 2nd amendment right is being put up to a vote of my references and my family. But you are correct that I will need to do this again and again if I plan to buy handguns in the future.

When liberals foul their nests so badly that they feel the need to flee their policies they do so. In their new area they then vote for the same policies that they fled from.

Liberals are incapable of learning from their mistakes because they believe that they are too smart to make mistakes.
