One in three Americans has put off seeking medical treatment in 2014 due to high costs, according to Gallup the highest percentage since Gallup began asking the question in 2001.
Thirty-three percent of Americans have delayed medical treatment for themselves or their families because of the costs theyd have to pay, according to the survey. Obamacare, of course, had promised that it would help make health care more affordable for everyone, but the number of people who cant afford a trip to the doctor has actually risen three points since 2013, before most Obamacare provisions took effect.
The hardest-hit: the middle-class. Americans with an annual household income of between $30,000 and $75,000 began delaying medical care over costs more in 2014, up to 38 percent in 2014 from 33 percent last year; among households that earn above $75,000, 28 percent delayed care this year, compared to just 17 percent last year.

I feel like screaming: THIS WAS OBVIOUS BEFORE OBAMACARE WAS FINALIZED. All of the problems with ObamaCare were clear from well beforehand. We did not have to pass the piece o poop to know what was in it!
Yeah. America is saving up to have the socialist monkey removed from its collective back.
But... but... it was supposed to be $2,500 less.
Oh yes we can, mmmm, mmmm, mmmm. glory halleluiah our lord and savior barack hussien obama.
Another type of Death Panel.
You can also bet that a ‘peak number of Americans’ are being denied treatment as well. I’m up to four denials for various issues this year. So far. This is the same stuff I never had an issue with pre Romney...Er, I mean Obamacare But of course, Palin was just nuts talking about rationed care and death panels.
My special thanks go out to all those brilliant Freepers that helped the left smear her with their PDS crap.
Many of the physicians and dentists used to voluntarily treat patients on a sliding income scale, and often for free if you had a small, easily treated issue.
No more.
They all say the same thing now:
“Sign up for ObamaCare.”
People were forced to exchange healthcare for expensive low quality insurance.
They all say the same thing now:
Sign up for ObamaCare.
...
If they work for the schools most likely they are being ordered by their liberal Democrat party connected bosses to get people to sign up.
Affordable my buttocks!
That's it exactly. The folks who would have been covered under their low-deductible company policy have lost it, been forced to sign up for expensive high deductible coverage, so no longer have the money they'd otherwise have been able to use to pay for care.
Hell, I’m paying $15k/year now and not one member in my family “kept” their doctor. I’m paying cash in clinics to get care!!!
Obamacare sucks ass!!!
Not the Exempt Gang Members and Gang Lobby.
Result: Deflation, everywhere.
And when they try to force the “checkups”
Extortion-Care is the Government Work-Camp: Arbeitsziehungslager
If I understand right, hospitals used to set aside funds to treat indigents. This became "charitable" contributions against their income
Under ObamaCare, they can not write off these pro bono actions. In fact, they get a penalty per patient served w/o ObamaCare.
So much for caring for the 30,000,000 w/o medical insurance.
The level of arrogance and stupidity demonstrated by the Democrat Party in passing 0bamafraud is incomprehensible. Why is there so much resistance to trashing it? How do you “fix” a 2700 page monstrosity of a bill? Add to that 11,000-plus pages of regulations. It would be a pleasure to force the !$&@’s to literally eat their “work”.
>> Why is there so much resistance to trashing it?
GOP-e cowardice.
>> One in three Americans has put off seeking medical treatment in 2014 due to high costs, according to Gallup
Not to annoy by repeating earlier posts, but I’m paying $15k/year and everyone in my family could not “keep their doctor”. This situation really sucks, but few get it.
