Looking for a US version of the UKIP Well, don't call it USIP. Maybe call it IPA - although I do sip an IPA sometimes during Summer.

It also pays to look back and see who conservatives ran in the primary to take out McConnell. Was he the best conservative candidate around? Was he well funded? was every conservative in KY behind him? Was everyone united. Did we really do the best job we could do in taking out McConnell. McConnell had national support and lots of money. Did we as a huge conservative base, with 30-50 million conservatives listening to talk radio and more on the blogosphere nationalize his race and make sure he was gone for good? It appears we didn't.
All good questions to be asked as to why McConnell is even around.

Why would they engage? This is what Bonehead and McConnell want.

The premise was flawed. The premise assumed that an incumbent in a major leadership role could be beaten in a primary

The only concern for them is whether they should lead on amnesty and take credit for it, at the expense of angering the base, or let Obama take the blame for it which would energize the base and help with fundraising."I think that Marron on FreeRepublic has our phones tapped."
To: Hojczyk
The GOP is just rolling over with Obama’s power grab with amnesty. Now Obama knows he can get away with ruling by decree and will simply take even more power. In two years he could be dictator with little more than a whimper from the GOP

That is the truth, so we have to begin building the alternative. We have a majority of Americans behind it, so what are we waiting for? It is all to clear that the Karl Roves, the Grover Norquists and the John Boheners and Yurtle McConnells of the Nation are shacking up with the Elites, leaving us out in the cold. I am sick of it.

You gotta be kidding! As strong as conservatives are nationally you just give up that easily? Why? Do you realize just how easily a local or regional race can be nationalized these days, its not rocket science. We can do it.But,if we don’t do it in the primaries we should just forget it as far as electing conservatives goes.

We are in a long difficult fight...we will win some and lose some. We win nothing by taking our marbles and sulking. The fight is to do what ever is necessary to move the country to the right. The first step is to unelect democrats. When we get rid of the democrat we go after the moderate republican....but we don't sit on our backside and allow the democrat to win. We get the republican establishment by taking over the republican party.

It is a win-win for the GOPe and the democrats. The president pleases his base, both because they want amnesty for more welfare voters and because they are huge fans of naked fascist power.
It is a win for the GOPe because they get the amnesty they want without enraging their base.
The rest of us are screwed, but we don't matter. Nor does the nation or the constitution.
To: Hojczyk
This is the reach around the aisle party for you! They`re so used to getting boned they think the rest of us will like it too.

It HAS to be an issue for them!! Do you advocate just sitting on their hands while our country is ruled by OBAMA of all people?!!!!
Despite my tagline, I’m no R. I can’t stand the way they just bend over and let the Dems have their way with them.

What a refreshing comment-—so full of common sense!
I keep reminding myself that conservative reinforcements are on the way. There is NOTHING that can be done in this lame duck session. If all McConnell does is manage to stonewall until Harry Reid is irrelevant, I say, More Power to Him!
