Congressman suggests moat around White House

Faced with an increasing number of White House intrusions that led to the resignation of a Secret Service director, a congressman on Wednesday suggested that maybe a moat should be erected around the president’s home.

The suggestion was made by Rep. Steve Cohen, a Tennessee Democrat, at a House Judiciary Committee hearing.

With hand gestures, Cohen suggested a moat roughly six-feet wide may be “attractive” and “effective.”

Joseph Clancy, the acting director of the Secret Service, didn’t dismiss the suggestion out of hand.

“Sir, it may be,” he said. Clancy said the Secret Service and the National Park Service were discussing ways to ensure security along with access to the White House for the American people.

The White House shouldn’t be any more secure than the southern border. Take down the fence and the doors on the place.

Here’s a suggestion: let those who jump the whitehouse fence...STAY!
After all, it’s an act of love!
The bam family can do without, if it saves one illegal intruder!

Aren’t moats around castles? Aren’t castles inhabited by kings? Seems to fit, given the current regime!

Outside of Baghdad, one can observe a number of high end residences, which frequently include a moat in their landscaping. I asked one local why he had a little bungalow on an island surrounded by the moat without a bridge. He replied that Allah could not see what went on inside the area surrounded by water. In a nutshell, they had a little boat and they would take their concubines to the bungalow to have their way with them, without being held accountable even by Allah.

Don’t suggest one around the White House. We might actually get it with the current resident and his intentions might not be so honorable.

“Mooch! Stop swimming in the moat! You’re scaring the fish, Sea Shepherd wants to smear rancid butter on you, and there’s whaling fleets staging around the corner!”

Cohen is an absolute fruitcake. He’s right up there with Sheila Jackson Lee and the like.

Please don't leave out Hank Johnson. (Will Guam tip over?)

The headline to this story led me to believe a conservative rep was satirically suggesting this after Obama's self-coronation on Thursday night.. but lo and behold... the dems really DO believe him to be a friggin' king.

So.. to befit America's newly emergent royalty, a name change for the Royal palace is in order (the ample Queen would especially favor it).....

LOL! Better not Valerie Jarrett in either, now that Steve Erwin’s passed away.

The most appropriate and the safest place for our king is solitary confinement in Leavenworth.
