The panel of MSNBC’s “The Cycle” agreed that the recent flurries of insulting and impolitic videos of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber was horrible press for the law, with MSNBC reporter Alex Seitz-Wald saying it confirmed “all the worst suspicions that Republicans had” about Obamacare. Host Touré: I think that Grubergate is probably the dumbest self-inflicted wound to happen to Obamacare since the rollout of Obamacare. He calls voters dumb, and he contributes to this notion they had to be secretive in order to get this thing passed. Does this become a lasting stain on the way that people perceive this

The TEA Party had these “suspicions” long before the Republicans did.
The Dems and the media thought they could shove Grubergate under the floor but now it’s too big a fiasco for them to cover up hence the lame attempts by top Dems to deny associations with Gruber. Even the media is starting to call out the administration on this, not out of any sense of being impartial, but the realization that more of this keeps damaging Hillary in 2016.

“Horrible press” does not begin to address the substance of what happened here. Liberals produce ample kerfuffle merely on the basis of the “seriousness of the charges,” while scarce an ink spot spills upon manifest wrongdoing. It may work for a little while longer, libbies and lobbyists, but not forever.

Leigh even kindly has the Jan 16, 2012 video of his speech at Noblis confirming all of his spiel and his tidbit at 2:35 stating that they couldn’t (politically) take away something from 250 million people that they were HAPPY WITH (their insurance) to help 50 million, the slams on small business, the rich, employer insurance, the elderly, we don’t know what is good for us....

I called the office of my (D) Senator today during business hours. No human to answer the phone so I spoke to the answering machine. I told it that we all have been Grubered and I hope that the Senator was as mad as I was. I hoped the Senator would introduce a bill to repeal the fraudulent ACA. I told the Senator’s voicemail that had Walmart made an offer to perform general health care functions (like they have already done with optometry), and had evidence come out that Walmart’s program was fraudulent, that I would have expected to see the Senator in front of the cameras calling for the arrest of Walmart executives. As a result of the massive fraud (far bigger than Bernie’s ponzi scheme) I hope to see the Senator call for the arrest of the people who have Grubered the American public.

1. Tonight, Monday, I watched a little bit of the Hayes night show on MSNBC.
2. He presented arguments that ObamaCare could not be attacked by Republicans, because ObamaCare was doing a lot of good for previously uninsured persons. I think the title was"Don't fall for Grubergate."
3. Did anyone here see the show? If you saw the show, could you comment on it? You can also see it at the MSNBC site.
4. I don't know enough about ObamaCare to dispute any of Hayes' arguments where he says that ObamaCare is doing a lot better than Republicans say it is. Thanks.
