The Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society are each registering their outrage over reportedly being designated terrorist organizations by the United Arab Emirates.
The two American groups were listed alongside the Islamic State group, Al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood branches, as well as European Muslim groups in Italy, Germany, Sweden, Norway and Finland, Britain’s Cordoba Foundation and the Muslim Association of Britain. The full list, numbering 83 groups, was approved by the UAE cabinet Saturday and was posted by the official news agency WAM.
CAIR described its inclusion on the terrorism list as “shocking and bizarre” and called on the UAE government to remove them.
“There is absolutely no factual basis for the inclusion [of] CAIR and other American and European civil rights and advocacy groups on this list,” CAIR said in a statement Sunday.

I don’t need the UAE’s opinion to place CAIR on my personal terrorist list, but it’s nice to get their concurrence.
Well, that was unexpected.
Well, they were un indicted co conspirators during the holy land foundation trial. I don’t trust them, they should move somewhere else..
UAE is not perfect, but they are the best ally that US has in the Muslim world. They are very westernized - one of their pilots who did air strikes against ISIS is a woman. They have offered to allow Israel to use their air space against Iran. Their leaders have been the most adamant voices against Islamic extremism, which has got them on a hit list by al Qaeda.
And remember that Dubai is only 10% Emiratis. The rest are expats and tourists. It’s the only Muslim country I know of with Christian churches. They even have Christmas decorations and Christmas music in all the malls. Not your typical Muslim country.
I have been coming to Dubai and Abu Dhabi for 10 years, and they are the exception, not the rule. Oman is the other Middle East country that the US can rely upon.
Oh, I know exactly what CAIR and MAS are. The unexpected part was the UAE declaring them terrorists. Something is going on behind the scenes.
Maybe that CAIR and MAS are here to make the Quaran (more like qurap) the Constitution of the United States and Islam the dominate religion? Well those are the words from the co-founder of CAIR (whom I believe is still sitting behind bars). Maybe because they receive seed money from other terrorist organizations?
Maybe just maybe because they just are...

LOL....Well it is true but who da’ thunk we’d be hearing that from them...and why?....plus the UN is now accusing our police agencies for “abusing” racial minorities as well. Looks like powers that be are trying hard to put the US in the headlights like a doe crossing the road.
I agree with your consensus on UAE and Oman having spent time in both. On the churches, lets not forget those in Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and Turkey. I lived in Jordan and attended a Catholic church there from time to time. Jordan plays the Christmas music in the malls and they have the decorations. Same can be said for my time living in Erbil, Iraq. They play Christmas music in malls and display a large Christmas tree.
Actually, I'd like to know what the UAE knows about Obama they are not telling us.
Obama is very close to CAIR and many of his highest level appointees and operatives are from CAIR.
CAIR is also very close to Eric Holder and his law firm. Holders law firm represents most of the Gitmo Terrorists and Taliban members and together Holder, His Law Firm and CAIR are the strongest and most vocal advocates for the al Qaeda terrorists .
Significantly , close to 100 Gitmo terrorists mob lawyers from Holder firm came with him to the Dept. of Justice and today fill out most of the highest level DOJ positions
The Muslim American Society gave Hillary a TON of MONEY, and she had them listed as “MUSEUM” American Society!!!!! Even back then, she knew they were terrprists but she LOVED ALL THE MONEY THEY GAVE HER!!!
If Islam is ever to reform itself, it has to start somewhere.
