If only Halloween hadn’t passed, someone could go as MIT’s Jonathan Gruber. He is the economist most likely to get people in Washington to run out of a room. At the moment he is a problem for the Obama administration and Democrats, though he’s spooked Republicans before, too. At an academic panel in 2013, Gruber said of the Affordable Care Act: “This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure” the Congressional Budget Office “did not score the mandate as taxes.” He also said that “lack of transparency is a huge political advantage,” and added, “Call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical to getting the thing to pass.” The video has surfaced now and conservatives are pointing to the admission as more proof that the Obama administration, which came to town pledging new levels of transparency, was trying to hoodwink voters with the Affordable Care Act........

What I’d like the GOP to do is not take the bait on immigration. Rather I’d like to see them get up a national TV ad along these lines:
“Pelosi—we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it”
Then show the best Gruber videos.
Then show Pelosi saying this week she doesn’t know who Gruber is.
Then show Pelosi and Reid video from 2009 praising Gruber.
End with - The American people care about their healthcare. Obama Lied.
I just think we need an offensive on the Gruber/ACA thing. This resonates as people sign up for their healthcare plans for next year. This is the battlefield where Obama doesn’t want to play. Make him defend it though.

There isn't really any way to spin this that doesn't end up in hoodwink territory. The law was assembled in haste and secrecy, passed without substantive discussion, and certain of its less palatable features have been illegally suppressed by executive diktat until they are less politically damaging. That turns out to be like tearing a bandaid off a quarter-inch at a time - it isn't an improvement and all it does is make people pay even more attention.
0bamacare is deceptive, mendacious garbage and needs to be dumpstered. Whether it returns in another form or is thankfully forgotten altogether, it needs to be done in an open, bipartisan...dare I say it? Transparent manner.

Amnesty is intricately tied to the Obamacare bill. Thirty percent of the total Obamacare sign ups are illegal aliens, without amnesty, Obamacare is finished and once amnesty is granted, you won’t be able to undo any of it.
Explains why Romney lost the election and makes it very clear why Romney should not be considered in 2016!

Hi Eva ! Exactly. Gruber and the genius Danielle are two peas from the same pod.
I’ve been thinking that Obama is going for full out Helter Skelter, combine the Ferguson riots with the amnesty issue and get chaos. It is his last chance. The Supreme Court gave him his chance with the ACA and he blew it. It is desperation time.
