This Gruber thing is much, much bigger than needing to lie to "stupid American voters". Under Natural Law, which our Founders believed in and upon which they wrote the Declaration of Independence and set up the Federal Government under the Constitution, the People are the sovereign. The government are servants to the People.

What Gruber/Obama/the Democrat Party have done is subversion, high crimes and misdemeanors of the highest order. They're lying, scamming and plotting to overturn the political order to place themselves permanently on top as ruling class, an oligarchy, to replace the constitution.

As Mark Levin, this is the type of actions that spawn revolts. And this is the urgency and desperation of our situation that the blind moles and post turtles of the elected GOP just simply do not understand. They think that we're in just another cycle of "politics as usual", instead we have lawless revolutionary President conducting a self-coup against the lawful order.

I did include Chief Justice John Roberts in my piece. Four Justices voted against and did not believe the lies. Four others voted for and I doubt that they believed the lies. Indeed, voting to say ObamaCare is a tax is contrary to Gruber's lie that is was not a tax.

He was lying to provide cover for Obama and Democrat congressmen. And they were paying him to do it. Even Gruber is smart enough not to admit that.

Thus the subterfuge about “stupid voters”. The people were not in a position to voting Obamacare. There was no referendum on Obamacare. They knew the Republican congressmen were not voting for it.

Who are the “stupid voters”, then? Why, it was the Democrat congressmen who were on the fence and need to vote to pass the bill. They needed a nice story to explain why they voted for the monstrosity that is Obamacare.

I do. They conducted no opposition to ObamaCare worth the name. It was left up to the millions of citizens out there to do the work the elected GOP wouldn’t do.

I couldn't agree more. It took a while for all this to finally come to light.

You are quite right to emphasize the sinister nature of this. If we connect the dots with the IRS scandal by which our government sought to muzzle the free political speech of conservatives we see a very threatening pattern emerging.

We might also add the obvious parallels with global warming and the specious or at least dubious science advanced to justify curtailing basic property rights of Americans.

In case after case basic constitutional procedures have been aborted and executive tyranny substituted. Increasingly, Obama does not even seek a fig leaf to justify his power grabs.

The whole administration should be seen as Nixon was painted in the Watergate affair, a cabal in charge of the nation governing against the nation but in Obama's case doing so to subvert the nation. Nixon at least was a patriot but Obama despises everything about the American experiment.

I left out Gruber in my analysis of who was lied to and who believed the lies. Gruber didn't believe he own lies, but he did believe he was successful in pulling the wool over the eyes of the "stupid American voters". The Low Information types only heard a few sound bites based on Gruber's work, but that could've been handled by any PR on the Obama staff. You didn't need Gruber for that.

Gruber was needed for the Democrat Members of Congress; House and Senate; and for the Media. ObamaCare was crafted to minimize opposition. They learned from the HillaryCare debacle and bought off the short-sighted Pharmaceutical and Insurance Industries. Both are doomed to destruction under any national healthcare scheme.
