Don’t have to die on this hill, just kept mouths shut until the confirmation hearings and get her on the record, ask her detailed questions about what, if any, legal authority she sees for various Obama executive orders, carried out or contemplated. And other legal questions.
Get that discussion out to as much of the public as might follow the hearing. No point in mushes like Hatch confirming her before we even have the hearing. Dumb.
That’s the GOP we all grown to know and despise. Not even fighting words anymore.
I’ll sign on to that.
