Stand by. This is a breaking news weather event.
Due to a strong arctic push temperatures in Tucson, Arizona and the surrounding areas are expected to plunge into the lower 80’s by the end of this week. Residents are encouraged to prepare early for this weather event. Everyone should immediately begin trying to remember where they put their socks last Spring and should check them for holes (t is normal for socks to have one hole where you insert your foot). Always remember, when wearing socks there is a “heel” end and a “toe” end. If you are having difficulty remembering how to wear socks, you should contact your local office of the Red Cross. Please do not call the “911” emergency number because it needs to remain open for our elderly and vulnerable citizens during this weather emergency.

Yes indeed. A co-worker came in this morning and asked, “Why is it so dang cold out?”. I replied, “Uhh...because it’s November? Happens every year”.
So now is a good time to release the decision on the Ferguson police officer. Any rioters can just get a nice spray down with a fire hose, and we’re all happy.

I was there, actually in Homestead where I saw snow flurries. First trip to South Florida, was pretty bummed.
“HOTTEST It reached 134 degrees Fahrenheit at Furnace Creek, Calif. on July 10, 1913 inside the present-day Death Valley National Park. The record was previously held by El Azizia, Libya, where a temperature of 136.4 F was recorded on September 13, 1922.”
Looks like El Azizia would still hold the record then....
Older records are suspect because the accuracy of the instruments wasn’t as good. Plus it was in a muslim country, so they probably lied to the infidels....................
The weather is noticeably cooler today than it was a month ago.
And this happened in every one of the 50 states!!! And there are PEOPLE using FOSSIL FUEL in every one of those states!!! Whut r u, dum????

Laughing like hell at that!! SoCal should definitely be sending out that warning! I moved in Sept, brain surgery in Oct, and haven’t unpacked real shoes yet. I did find a sweater. It is dipping below 70 for the first time since June. I need to be ready.
