Interesting thing to me about the video clip.
He says what he says as if he is trying to show just how smart he was to gain the objective even though he had to lie about it to do so.
He is actually proud of himself for his deception.
Professor Gruber, Phd(Doctor of Phraud) is the architect of Obamacare.
He designed the Phraud
He promoted the Phraud
He took a contract with HHS to promote Obamacare(400k)
He wrote articles as an independent expert who did not disclose his contract with HHS
He is a Phraud.
He regrets perpetrating this Phraud on millions of Americans. Disrupting their lives and causing them financial hardship. And costing the taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars.
Bernie Madoff is a piker compared to this Phraud.
If MIT does not fire him, they are as big a disgrace as he is.
Some say his comments will have no bearing on any actions towards Obamacare
I disagree, he was paid by the Administration 400,000 dollars to promote the law. If this conference took place during that time He was a paid Employee and admitted to Fraud, Conspiracy to Committee fraud etc. he needs to be hauled in front of a Senate Committee to answer for his criminal activities.
At the least his paid words will be heard by the USSC officially or not. He just called the Supreme Court Decision a joke based on fraud because Roberts was too stupid to figure it out.
I bet Thomas and Scalia and Alito are rubbing it there face now!
The ILWU is still trying to force Obamacare down our throats. The ILWU has been slowing down the port traffic all along the west coast in a effort to force negotiators to fund A huge Obamacare policy for ILWU members that is so expensive that it is predicted to raise the cost of all goods that come through the west coast ports.
He only regrets getting caught describing Americans as stupid.
Actually, he only called the American voters stupid. Maybe that explains Obama listening to the two-thirds of eligible voters who did not vote. After all, THEY must be the SMART ones according to Gruber and Obama.

I think it's more complicated than that. They feel that Gruber is calling other people idiots, because they knew he was lying all along.
The college-educated liberal voter knows they are being lied to all the time and they approve of it.
Like this Gruber guy, they feel that most Americans aren't as smart as they and their college-educated circle of friends, so they need to be lied to for their own good.
The fact that they know the politicians they vote for are always lying makes them feel smarter and politically savvy. Almost like they're insiders on the game.
In the bizarro amoral mind of a liberal, voting for dishonest lying politicians is how you prove you're smart to the educated circle of amoral idiots you hang around with.
Gruber cannot undo the Gruber. Obamacare is stupid policy sold to stupid people stupidly.

Gruber spent a couple of years barnstorming the country warning states that they had to set up their own exchanges, and that failure to do so would cut their residents out of the subsidy pool. In a 2012 speech, the advice came out as equal measures promise and threat: (2012)
“But there was never any intention to literally withhold money, to withhold tax credits, from the states that didn’t take that step. That’s clear in the intent of the law and if you talk to anybody who worked on the law. My subsequent statement was just a speak-o — you know, like a typo.” (interview with new republic, 2014)
