I even have a friend that has decided that gluten whatever is the cause of all sorts of his ailments. Of course, before that, several other things were the cause. At least he eats meat, just make sure no gluten crap gets near it.

The vegan types we know are all sickly. The comment about no strength is spot on.

And it’s hard to tell whether the buns have been spread with lard.

These people (anyone with a "beef" because they feel that they are being "unfairly discriminated against") should understand that there is a difference between being compared (German: "verglichen") and being equated (German: "gleichgesetzt") with, e.g., Nazis.

Thus: "My grandmother was very much like Hitler in certain respects... They both were native-speakers of German, both had blue eyes, etc." That is a COMPARISON, folks.
