Pennsylvania Republicans said Wednesday their majority in the state House will be the largest in more than half a century after a sweeping Election Day victory.

The party gained at least eight seats and a western Pennsylvania race in which the incumbent Democrat was holding a narrow lead was considered too close to call.

It'll be interesting to see if this new PA GOP super majority will actually stop commie Wolf, or go along to get along with him. My bet is on the latter...

The GOP also gained in the Senate, from 27-23 to 30-20, winning two open seats and defeating incumbent Sen. Tim Solobay, D-Washington.

Getting rid of that rat Solobay made my day!

Meet my new Senator!!!

Camera Bartolotta

Some good news out of my native Pennsylvania - I happened to hear some Philly talk radio on Friday afternoon and they were analyzing the governor’s race - I didn’t realize it, but according to those on the radio, if I interpreted what they said correctly, apparently a lot of Corbett’s problems, in addition to higher gas taxes, real estate taxes et al was the fact that he was involved in the Penn State scandal - callers were blaming him particularly for what happened to Joe Paterno and thought the prosecution of the case was vastly overdone - as the radio host said, those who voted against Corbett for this reason will probably think differently when Wolf starts raising their taxes......
