Stopping the Progressives, Defeating Democrats Now and Beating the Republican Establishment in 2016

The day after First Tuesday in November is Spin Wednesday when all of the journalists in the mainstream media try to spin the results of the recent elections. That’s what all of the liberals are doing right now in the wake of their crushing defeat at the polls. Crushing defeat is the only way to describe it. They are spinning until their heart is content. The fact is that Republicans took control of the Senate and they now enjoy a bigger majority in the U.S. House of Representatives than they have ever had in the last seventy years. It was a crushing defeat for Democrats and their progressive agenda starting with ObamaCare no matter how they try to spin it, and they are already in full blown self-denial. The Democrat leader in the Senate is Harry Reid and he said yesterday that the Democrats’ defeat in the midterm elections means that, “the American people want us to work together with Republicans.” No it doesn’t ! The American people rejected your Party because they don’t like what it is doing in Washington D.C. and they elected Republicans not to cooperate with you but rather to stop you instead. That’s the truth and what President Obama said in the aftermath of the Democrats defeat at the polls indicates that he is in even more denial than Harry Reid is.

Take my advice and don’t listen to all of the spin coming from the mainstream media and the Democrat Party. It will only drive you nuts. Let me give you some good advice for the next two years because our political battle has only just begun. As soon as the 2014 Midterm Elections are over conservatives need to quit the Republican Party in droves. We need to send a message to the GOP that they will not ignore. If millions of conservatives change our Party affiliation from Republican to independent or to non-affiliated then the Republican Party will finally pay attention to us. They will not attribute their recent success at the polls in these midterm elections to the ridiculous notion that Americans actually voted for them rather than merely against their opponents.

The only way we can get the Republican Party to govern conservatively during the next two years and actually pay attention to us in 2016 is to quit now. We will have more leverage now and in the long run up to the 2016 Republican Primary if we quit now than if we remain in the Party and try to change it from within. It is the only way we can realistically hope to get a real constitutional conservative nominated to head up the Republican ticket in 2016. It is the only way we can exert our combined political leverage to get the Republican Party to not just block, but to actually turn back the fundamental transformation of America which is being waged against our Constitution by President Obama and the Democrat Party. If we are real lucky we might even be able to get the Republicans in Congress to initiate impeachment hearings against President Obama. The Republican Party will only listen to us if hundreds of thousands of loyal conservative Republicans change our political affiliation. They will notice the dwindling Republican Party registration numbers. That’s all the RNC cares about.. The numbers and the money are what they are really interested in. Our battle for the next two years is not with Democrats. It is with the Republicans who control the Republican Party. It is with the Republican Establishment.

If conservatives don’t quit the Republican Party in sufficient numbers so that the RNC takes notice then the RNC will just continue to take our votes for granted now and in the future. They will worry more about losing the Hispanic vote in 2016 than our vote and they will nominate someone like Mitt Romney to run for President again. Maybe it will be Jeb Bush this time or Chris Christie. It might even be Mitt Romney himself on the ticket again in 2016. It could happen. He is already traveling around the country trying to secure various promises to support his nomination in 2016. That’s why he is keeping his face and his name in the news whenever and wherever he can. The only way to prevent this from happening again is to leave the Republican Party now, right after the midterm elections are over. We will have more clout with the Republican Party after we leave than if we remain. Ask yourself one very important question. Whose vote is the Republican Party more worried about… yours or some Mexican’s who is not even in the country legally ?

Make the Republican Party work for your vote in 2016. Don’t let them assume that they have it in the bag. Don’t let them take you for granted. Quit the Republican Party now and register as an independent or a non-affiliated voter and make sure that the Republican Party listens to you next time. Make sure the Republican Party earns your vote in 2016. This is our last chance to turn the country around and restore respect for the Constitution in Washington, and remember this… Even Ronald Reagan couldn’t reform the Republican Party from the inside by cooperating with it. He didn’t permanently defeat socialism in America. He did not defeat the progressive ideology of the Democratic Party. He helped to defeat socialism in the Soviet Union. Furthermore the Reagan Revolution ended the day he left office and the Democrat and Republican Parties picked up right where they left off before he became President. Today the Democrat and Republican Parties are even worse than they were then and there are no more Ronald Reagans around to even try to put a halt in their progressive slide to the Left. We need to try a different approach that does not consist of appeasement or cooperation with the Republican Party.

I fully expect to catch major heat from the die-hard Pubbies still in here.

That said, if ANYONE has a better way to get the attention of the increasingly arrogant and unresponsive GOPe, please share it with us!

If we fail to turn this NOW, watch for Romney or Jeb Bush to head the ticket in 2 years.

It is clear that the Republican Establishment must be stopped. Right now, amnesty must be stopped. Both Obama,AND the GOPe want amnesty. If we don’t stop this first, there won’t be any Republican party to worry about, or a country either!

Hopefully we won't forget!

Donna Brazile……

Voters went for pot and Republicans. They must have gone for the pot first. The lesson here—never vote when you’re stoned.

I am sure some did

I'm afraid I can't think of any way to get their attention. They seem completely dismissive of their base, and care only about pleasing the Chamber of Commerce who want cheap labor. They for some reason do not believe in their conservatism enough to think it is salable to the public. That or they just love giving out goodies so much to their political masters they just don't care about ideology. It seems only a handful of politicians have the character and decency to go to Washington and still hang onto their values. Whether you like their ideology or not, I think Cruz and Rand fit that bill, but most turn “Washington” once they get there.

I am very pleased with the push towards dismantling Obamacare. If the Republicans take small, deliberate steps towards fulfilling the people’s will, I am okay with it. We can’t be negative all the time.

Yes, they SEEM to be making some of the right noises. We’ll have to wait to see if they put legs under the language!

“I can’t think of any way to get their attention”

The same obvious way ‘no one’ saw the last two elections...
Get conservatives in the House. By primary if possible.

Senate and House RINOs hated those primaries they won this year. Cost a fortune and left them vulnerable- many would have been goners in a presidential election year. And they know it.
Abd if the conservative wins: even better.
