This is a serious question....

What types of secrets could he divulge? Technical stuff?

I would think he would be able to give a pretty clear, layman’ description.

As a person unfamiliar with what stuff would be classified, I have alway been curious how much more could come about a mission so well publicized.

As I wrote, I am serious about this question and would welcome someone educating me about it.

My guess is that this is all about not antagonizing Muslims.

“As a person unfamiliar with what stuff would be classified”

The only thing you need to understand is that if something was classified, but politically useful to Obama, it was immediately de-classified/disclosed.

At this point, the only thing that points to not airing it now is the unit cohesion part of these sort of operations. If everyone knows that they or someone else is participating thinking of some future publicity/revenue opportunity, it distracts from the operation at hand.

But Obama is a liar and a political opportunist - counting on SEALS to keep their mouths shut and not expose his lying. It’s probably a decent bet on his part - but it surely has it’s limits. Maybe this is that limit.

the ever ready to be offended ...muslims...are a force to be reckoned with.

we need to determine just how we need to reckon with them.

shining a light on anything relative to bin laden would seem at this point to be further solidifying his martyrdom in the eyes of the “muuslim world”

I’d suspect that there would be scant few viewers for that kind of “spectacle”.

HOWEVER, the administration went to great lengths to publish extraordinary details FOR POLITICAL BENEFIT.

Including the ID of the Pakistani Dr. who confirmed Bin Laden was in the compound.

That Dr. now sits in a prison in Pakistan.

Shameful.
