Exactly. Captivity = Time Served For Desertion = Release

The Bergdahl trade was just a pretext for Obama to desperately release from Gitmo the 5 most dangerous and guilty Taliban prisoners before al - Qaeda kicked off the ISIS invasion of Iraq after which their release would have been politically impossible.

The timing on this suggests strongly that high level people within the Obama Administration were aware that the ISIS invasion of Iraq was imminent and that they rushed to get the 5 prisoners released from Gitmo before the invasion kicked off.

Can’t House or Senate intelligence members leak it?

With all due respect sir you are completely discounting down to zero the testimony of several guys in his same unit that say he DID desert and he is a traitor while apparently elevating Mr. Bergdahls version of events to gospel.

Why would you not give the benefit of the doubt to those patriots in his unit that fulfilled their duties and completed their mission?

I certainly and absolutely would respect their testimony. But the CIC seems to think Bowe and his family are some kind of heroes. Bowe will get a medal before Obama is done and a sh**load of back pay.

I don't believe they're aware of the findings according to this piece:

The Obama administration conducted the negotiations behind the back of Congress

Sorry, that was the release but I don’t know that Congress knows the investigation results as yet.

To add to the wise predictions on this thread: When released it will have many conclusions redacted for “security reasons” or changed “in the reporting chain.”

It will probably be released late on the Friday after the election, and it will be buried by election news and other Obama crisis’s.

Bergdahl was the deep cover agent who whacked Bin Ladin.

Thats what I hear, don’t ask me, thats just the word on the street.

I would agree...no one in Congress knows. Even from the WH, I doubt if more than five people know the results.

Personally, I think they will try to rush him out of the Army with some Article 15 judgement, maybe a stripe taken, and then released to later ask for medical discharge with disability (figure 50 to 100 percent).

There’s not much value in some court case, for Bergdahl, the Army, or reality. You can produce evidence of him leaving, him being a nutcase, and some medical stuff on him after he came back. Otherwise, there’s limited evidence. I personally wouldn’t want him around....he’s just a distraction...a phony solder. And I don’t see how the medical disability deal can be granted to him, other than admitting he was a nutcase as he joined the Army, and still is.

Like you I seriously doubt there’ll be a court-martial but an Article 15 to get rid of him as quietly as possible.

To court-martial him would further embarrass 0bama and he’s convinced he’s never wrong, plus he doesn’t give a whit if Bergdahl is guilty of desertion.

Asking his squad leader which sensitive equipment would cause the Army to send out a search party for him, and then leaving said equipment on his cot before disappearing in the middle of the night would seem to be very serious evidence of his intentions.

I have no doubt that he at least deserted...But I’m not the CIC...and I don’t make the ultimate decision.

Everything Obama does from the time his feet hit the floor in the morning to the time his head hits the pillow at night is slimy and political.

Thanks for the worst president in history, liberals. We won’t be forgetting it.

As mush as I despise Obama, I despise those who put him in the White House twice even more.

Industrial grade ignorance installed Obama in our white house and most of them are still too dumb to realize the horrible mistake they’ve made.
