“Writing it off to charity....”

Translation: allow U.S. taxpayers to pick up the tab.

Obama intends to use ebola to bankrupt the hospitals.

Then there will be no resistance to ObamaCare.

I concur. Last I heard, Duncan’s family was planning on suing the hospital for “medical malpractice.” If they somehow collect, the hospital should be first in line to collect, along with the airlines (and others), who had to absorb millions in unexpected costs because Duncan lied his way to America and became Patient Zero in our Ebola outbreak.

Not that getting the best medical care in the world for free would be an incentive for others in Africa to fly here... or anything like that..../s

Don’t forget to add the opportunity cost of all the patients who went elsewhere because of Ebola being there.

Reminds me of a neighbor we had when I was a kid. She used to justify stealing from stores, saying they could just write it off. She had no idea what that meant. It certainly did not mean it cost them nothing. It only meant they did not have to pay takes on the loss.

Forgive my poor editing.

It just meant they did not have to pay TAXES on it.
