A controversial Islamist group will gather at Tufts University on Friday for a weekend-long conference that will include training students to take “direct action” against pro-Israel and Jewish students on U.S. campuses, according to a schedule of the conference obtained by the Free Beacon.
The event, held by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), which is run by the American Muslims for Palestine, has raised concerns among students who feel threatened by the group’s highly aggressive—and sometimes violent—tactics.
SJP is known for leading some the most hostile anti-Israel campaigns on campus, including comparisons of the Jewish state to Nazi Germany, promotion of the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, and advocacy for the terrorist group Hamas.
SJP affiliates on several U.S. campuses have been banned by school administrators for disseminating materials described by critics as anti-Semitic

I associate the term “Direct Action” with acts of terrorism, on the context of the same term used by European terrorist organizations. But then these groups’ actions would be termed as “workplace violence”.
Wasn’t there a recent news story about college campuses in California banning Christian groups because they discriminate against non-believers for leadership positions in their Christian organizations? But here we have racism and bigotry at its most concentrated form, and it is welcomed on a university campus in Massachusetts. Disgusting!

The “Direct Action” types I have run into tended to be Maoists. As in “Political power proceeds from the barrel of a gun”. That little line from Mao’s Little Red Book. So just get politically back in their faces.

I know that most Jews in America are libs, but I can’t understand the silence and why they don’t see the obvious. If the KKK were doing the same thing at Tufts there would be outrage. But with Muslims, it’s “meh”. No big deal.

I am a Tufts alum and a large number of students/alum are Jewish mainly from the NY metro area. What a disgrace the school is hosting anti-semites.
The liberals are too busy suppressing Christians and the Tea Party to be worried about Muslims.
Direct Action, eh? Sounds like another way to say “Final Solution”.
