The Metropolitan Opera will be performing an opera based on the murder of wheelchair bound Jewish American businessman Leon Klinghoffer at the hands of Palestinian terrorists. An opera that humanizes terrorism is bad enough but performing it in the murder victim’s hometown seems deliberately offensive. The performance will not occur without protest though.

Like I said many many many times: New York city is the self-hating Jew capital of the world so this does not surprise me in-the-least. It’s why our first radical Muslim POTUS went there more than any other city for fundraisers, sometimes 3 times a week when he was running. Besides being a pro-terrorist opera, “Klinghoffer” was composed by the utter no-talent John Adams. Sitting through anything written by this self-congratulating intellectual dwarf is like be subjected to a classical work written by a committee of stoned second graders. The music is dumb, boring and flatulent. His magnum opus “Nixon in China” is a laughable POS that was only staged because Adams chose a main character that all of his fellow leftist cocktail party traitors could hate.

I have a friend who actually works backstage at the Met. She’s Jewish, I’ll ask her today and see what she says. I haven’t kept up on this particular incident although I’m aware of the opera.
