(CNN) -- This week Thomas Frieden, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, stepped up to the microphone and took responsibility for the worst mistake in Dallas' Ebola-stricken hospital: its utter lack of preparedness.

After insisting for months that any U.S. hospital could handle an Ebola case by following CDC guidelines, Frieden now wishes he had provided Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital with the robust CDC clinical support team it desperately needed to care for Thomas Eric Duncan -- the first of three people to be diagnosed with Ebola on American soil.

I hate to break it to you, but throughout the history of the Obama Administration, any time any person from top to bottom has stepped down from their position, without exception that person has been replaced by someone even less competent. I reject the “job insurance” threat (arranged so successor will be worse, so job occupant won’t get canned in fear of greater idiocy). If we end up with someone worse, keep removing incompetence until someone sensible shows up to actually do the job. For example, removing Obama would get us Biden as POTUS - ok by me.

Don’t let the threat become viable as a tactic. Solve problems until you have a solution.

Frieden’s problem is that he’s a terrible liar, and knowingly telling the blatant lies he’s been ordered by Obama to tell has severely afflicted him with cognitive dissonance.

And everybody assumes replacing Obama administration officials would change anything. It won’t. Every one of them has been appointed based on ideology and willingness to do and say exactly what Obama tells them to say and to shield him from the consequences of those actions and expressions as if those all came from themselves rather than Obama himself. Actual competence or expertise in their field was never a criteria for appointment and pretty much irrelevant, which is why almost all federal agencies are now completely hollowed out, having lost their core competencies years ago under the Obama administration.

Fundamentally each appointed Obama official is really just an interchangeable cog in the Obammunist machine, and when one wears out, that is, finally loses credibility when their Obama-protecting-shield takes too many blows, a replacement cog is appointed.

Firing Freiden accomplishes nothing, because Obama will simply appoint Frieden II.

When the head of the CDC made that statement about any hospital being able to treat an Ebola patient, I told Hubby he must not have had any family member in a hospital lately.

I knew based on my own experiences that the isolation gear was insufficient, and the adherence to protocol with out mistake was unlikely.

I also knew that medical waste and disposable gowns were routinely dumped into a bin right outside the door in a hallway, and the typical isolation room does not have a double entry door.

So I knew he was either a clueless idiot, living in a fantasy world, or a Baghdad Bob propagandist,(apologies to Bob).
