Madrid's Barajas international airport activated emergency measures on Thursday after a passenger arriving on an Air France flight was suspected of possibly having Ebola, a spokeswoman for airports operator Aena said.

Spain's health ministry confirmed that an Ebola emergency protocol had been set in motion but declined to give details.

Aena and Air France said in separate statements that a passenger on Air France 1300 from Lagos via Paris had started shaking during the flight. Air France said the other passengers disembarked from the plane, which will now be disinfected. The return flight has been canceled.

Suspected Ebola case

That is going to be a new normal for a while.

Given the events in Dallas and Spain, it could certainly get worse before it gets better.

Spain is awaiting an Ebola test on a “low-risk” contact of the Spanish Nurse, who has gotten ill, as well.

if the patients receive good medical care then that will simply incentivize any African struck with ebola to rush to a plane and come to the west.

even if such passengers are saved, releasing the story that they were saved can only be destructive thing.

everyone in Africa knows that the USA was willing to blow half a million dollars on Duncan alone.

that sends really bad message.

Flights will turn into Ebola wards.

unrelated and underreported...

http://www.kcentv.com/story/26801365/belton-isd-closes-three-campuses-on-thursday-as-precaution

(KCEN News) — Belton ISD will be closing three campuses in the district this morning as a precautionary measure.

This comes in light of the fact that two students who attend North Belton Middle School and Sparta Elementary were on the same Frontier Airlines Flight #1143 from Cleveland to Dallas as the latest Ebola patient Amber Vinson.

“Flights will turn into Ebola wards.”

Which is why we MUST stop these civilian flights to West Africa. It may already be too late, though.

I’m surprised that it was an Air France flight - I thought the French had actually stopped flying to those places, at least temporarily. Guess I was wrong.

It’s from Nigeria. AF is not flying to the three affected countries, there is no ongoing transmission in Nigeria.

There’s going to be a lot of false alarms. But it’s inevitable that Ebola is going to spread to every corner of the globe as long as they’re allowing people to fly in from countries in West Africa.

Lagos Nigeria is ebola free. Their government announced it 2 weeks ago. You don’t think they would lie, do you?

I actually do think Nigeria managed to contain it.

Nah...Nigeria, lie?

I thought it was laughable when such a dysfunctional place came out and announced they were “ebola free.” Actually, I think they said “no reported cases,” which may be true, because people have probably been told simply not to report them.
