This idiot went home and spent the weekend planning her wedding.

She was probably shedding virus all over the place. So, it is possible she just killed most of her family and friends.

Wow.

People who cannot follow simple instructions.

Who wants to be she got paid “danger pay” for working in the isolation ward. And then she was a little celebrity at home for working in the “ebola” case, telling everyone how horrible and gross it was. And then she gave them all a kiss goodbye.

Idiot.

Did you use the restroom on the Frontier Airlines flight that The Flying Nurse flew on?

Did you use any public restrooms that The Flying Nurse may have used?

Did you sit in any of the seats that The Flying Nurse sat on, while sweating?

If so, you might be a raciss for confirming that :-/
Report to #FireFrieden or #Obola, stat!

21 days? Perhaps that will give one an idea of the risk.

But, it has been 21 days since Duncan first arrived at the hospital. And this second nurse just shows up today. If she infected someone they may not show until 21 days. But the person that someone may have infected may be another 21 days (so now 42 days). Etc.

And worse - the nurses and doctors and other patients in the hospital with Duncan knew that they were at risk, and were monitoring themselves. While this nurse was an idiot for travelling, at least she went to the hospital before she was violently ill.

How many others, not knowing they were exposed, will figure the fever is just a fever? And the vomiting is just the flu? “Oh honey - now I’m vomitting blood and can’t even stand I’m so weak. Call a cab!”

Who the F is planning a wedding or ANY future event two days after your co-worker was just diagnosed with Ebola after working on the same Ebola patient you treated?

I am all kinds of too superstitious for that.

Not just ON the plane, but the airport sign-in desk, the airport restrooms, the boarding area, luggage pick-up. Oh boy. Scary.

As Dr. Spock would say, "That is not logical."

True. It is Liberal logic.

I mentioned to an acquaintance of mine that the nurse should not have travelled on public transportation. The reply was, “She didn’t. She flew on a plane.”

Glad she was an acquaintance and not a friend. ;-)

Reminds me of the argument I saw online last night, when a lib ended the conversation by saying “You should remember your precious 10 Commandments, especially THOU SHALT NOT JUDGE.”

Um. That most have been the the 11th Commandment or something...

LOL! “Flying Nurse.” Brought to mind the old “Flying Nun” TV series.

Dr. Tom Frieden said during a telephone press briefing Wednesday that you cannot get Ebola by sitting next to someone on a bus, but that infected or exposed persons should not ride public transportation because they could transmit the disease to someone else.

Tell me that all came out of his stupid mouth in one sentence! even if not, they need to fire whoever wrote it...

She also visited the Summa hospital in which she used to work, so that she could socialize with her former coworkers. My mother-in-law is a retired nurse and retired from the very same hospital. Her friend called a few hours ago and told her this. Mom-in-law’s friend still nurses at that hospital, and with over 35 years of nursing experience she is terrified at the consequences of this.

Gee, I hope she did not sleep with the fiancee. Worse than herpes.

On second thought Ebola is better than herpes, because you do not have to live with the embarrassment of herpes for the rest of your life as Ebola gives you too little time to foment any shame.
