Militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) could turn themselves into Ebola “suicide bombers” against the Western world, terrorism experts have warned.
ISIS or other terrorist groups could simply dispatch individuals to Ebola-infected areas in West Africa where they would intentionally infect themselves and then spread the virus through the world’s air transportation network.
Capt. Al Shimkus, a professor of national security affairs at the U.S. Naval War College, said the scenario was plausible.
“The individual exposed to the Ebola virus would be the carrier,” Shimkus told Forbes.
“In the context of terrorist activity, it doesn’t take much sophistication to go to that next step to use a human being as a carrier,” he added.
Professor Anthony Glees, director at Buckingham University’s Center for Security and Intelligence Studies, also warned that terrorists may consider such a plan.

Oh yeah. Why not? Those maniacs are capable of anything and everything destructive and deadly.
This is why the military and our domestic institutions from government, to medical, schools, transportation, homeless shelters, supermarkets, law enforcement, everyone needs to treat this current Ebola situation as a wake up call, that all the inadequacies that we are currently seeing, or concerned about get fixed now, before we see the big one.
That goes for our troops in Liberia, the terrorists will be studying to see if the military actually is prepared for bio threats and bio environments, as we have thought we were for decades.

I believe the key goal is to spread mental terror not necessarily physical damage.
Spraying people with blood is almost guaranteed to infect them.
But there are many better ways. How many of those are available to the terrorists.

The disease is there and easily spread. 10,20,30 people being infected would certainly cause panic, especially in a major city.

Being that this an arab titled news print it almost reads like an invitation to begin with attacks on our Military, on the ground, in the areas deployed to fight? ebola. obama has opened another door, intentionally, with the aid of an arab news print. All is/was planned is my humble opinion and the congressional reps are doing the usual of being useless. I cannot figure out why congress will not unite to stop obama. The Oath alone gives congress standing.
You don’t have to effect large swaths. you infect people and let nature take its course. Two it is readily available cheap to put into use. No expensive bio-weapons labs needed. Just collect the dead in the streets.
These people think outside the box, they have to they don’t have billion dollar military budgets.
Think of 9/11 how much do you think the same mission planned and executed by most modern military organizations would have cost when compared to what it cost Osama bin Laden’s gang?
