Glucocorticoids show some promise. The hemorragic stages of ebola are the result of a cytokine storm. Glucocorticoids inhibit those cytokines. If nothing else it might increase the survival rate.

The hemorragic stages of ebola are the result of a cytokine storm. I thought the coagulopathy was more directly attributed to clotting factor being bound up and unusable and also no longer produced due to liver damage.
