Ebola Strike: LaGuardia Airport Workers Walk Off The Job
Inquisitr's daily viral news ^ | October 9, 2014 | Staff

Posted on 10/09/2014 8:17:35 AM PDT by YankeeReb

An Ebola strike began at LaGuardia Airport in New York City over fears of contracting the deadly virus. The airport workers strike currently involves only Terminal D workers, but air travel could still be impacted by the walk-off and protests.

The AirServ company includes thousands of workers at five major United States airports. Representatives from the company told the media that LaGuardia Terminal D workers initiated the Ebola strike due to “documented health and safety violations.” Related complaints have also been filed with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration – OSHA.

Ebola has become a particular concern for the LaGuardia Terminal D workers because they reportedly deal with bodily fluids without proper gear. Approximately 200 airline cabin cleaners walked off the job overnight and began carrying signs in protest. AirServ workers told the media that they often encounter vomit, blood, and hypodermic needles while cleaning planes after a flight.

” AirServ workers told the media that they often encounter vomit, blood, and hypodermic needles while cleaning planes after a flight.”

AND that’s just from the cockpit.

I guarantee that 100% of those 80% don’t get the ‘connection’.

Somehow methinks they just wanna strike because its the leftist way. Looks like a bunch of 3rd world imports the workers. If the passengers strike then they got real problems.

Ban the damn flights already from Ebola infested regions. Got a west African nation passport? See ya later when Ebola gets under control.

it would do if the front line employees of the entire public transportation systems and the public schools in the US walked off the job until this WH gets serious about stopping the spread of ebola and the Honduran virus. Put the virus ball in obozo’s court.

Got a west African nation passport? See ya later when Ebola gets under control.

It is just that simple. No flights. No people from the ebola regions.

They may have voted for Obola twice,
but did not expect to be expendable pawns --- even once.

Why isn't the GOP screaming from the rooftops about this?

We're not serious about ebola, TB , whooping cough etc... or the "war on ISIS" until the border is secure.

And this is how ebola will be stopped from jet-setting (i.e. not by government waking up to the hazard).

Actually, I had expected the flying public to be the first to take steps toward shutting down risky travel (which is rapidly becoming ANY travel on public petri dish conveyances), by boycotting the airlines.

That a/c workers acted first is not that much of a surprise.

As soon as an airline worker or crew member gets infected, that will be that for the airlines, for the duration.

And when a health care or public safety worker gets a confirmed infection here, expect many of the rest to stay home.

The GOP?

they support al Qaeda if called “rebels” (just ask McCain)

they support open borders (just as Jeb)

they support Obola (just ask Boehner)

It does do some, but it connects to all the major airports in the US, which in turn connect to the world. It’s only a matter of time.

.

The "passenger strike" is next ...

"If" a Republican were President ... the MSM would be running "daily" news stories about "concerned passengers" ...

CANCELING their Thanksgiving-Christmas air trips.

On the other hand, I told my spouse last night that our planned airlines Christmas visit to Washington DC was now "vetoed" (by me), due to Obama's deadly lies about Ebola.

I figure the rest of America is about three weeks behind me on this one.

"Ebola will be Islam's NEXT 911 attack on America."

ISIS is certainly putting the finishing touches on "The Plan" right now.

Think "Pearl Harbor" (December 7th), the Japanese Imperial Navy October 1941 sailing orders ... and ISIS.

They're SEIU members - so I'll see your 80% and raise it to 100%.
Plus, I'm all in that they voted more than once during each election.
