Pat Roberts Takes Lead in Two Polls as Greg Orman Endorses Amnesty for Illegals

Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS) has taken the lead in two new polls released on Wednesday as his opponent Greg Orman again endorsed amnesty for illegal immigrants during Wednesday's debate.

In a Fox News poll, Roberts leads Orman, the liberal Democrat running as an "independent," by 5 points. Roberts leads Orman by a point in a CNN/ORC poll. Three weeks ago, Orman was leading Roberts by six points.

In Wednesday's debate, Roberts accused Orman of supporting amnesty after Orman tried to convince voters that he did not. The Kansas City Star reports that Orman does indeed support "a path to citizenship for some of the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants now in the U.S."

"If you're here on an undocumented basis, you should register with ICE, pay a fine, obey our laws, hold down a job and pay taxes -- and then I think you should be able to stay here," Orman recently said. During the debate, Orman reportedly said, "We are not going to find and send home 11 and a half million people -- nor would it be advisable."

Roberts has always opposed amnesty legislation -- he even opposed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 -- and it was a big reason why he survived his GOP primary. There simply was no daylight between Roberts and Milton Wolf on the illegal immigration issue.

“Greg Orman has repeatedly laid out a plan for immigration -- it is amnesty plain and simple," Roberts campaign manager Corry Bliss said in a Wednesday statement. "Mr. Orman is trying to take both sides of every issue to hide the fact that President Obama and Harry Reid want Greg Orman elected to the Senate because they know the only thing that can stop executive amnesty is a Senate Republican Majority with Pat Roberts."

Amnesty, along with wide-open borders to allow for an influx of ebola and ISIS jihadi headchoppers.

There will not be another chance.

“Is the Democratic collapse beginning?”

I certainly hope so. Here in MA, an unknown is ahead by five against congressman Keating. And Charlie Baker just jumped ahead in the polls. Don’t know if these are accurate, but this is MA, after all. With Ebola and everything else, there may be an undercurrent that is building. But we’ll see what actually happens.

First polls to show Roberts up in a while. 1 poll also had Governor Brownback ahead and the conservative Sec of State Kobach also leads. We may just hold back the Marxist/RINOist tide in Kansas.

If anyone is interested in reviewing Roberts position on many topics go to the
following links and spend a few moments. The history goes back to early 1990s
and shows his votes on many issues.

I certainly hope so. As I’m sure you know, I’m no fan of Roberts, but I do want him to win. And Brownback HAS to win, to cement his changes.

Very smart move by Roberts, although I’m sure it made Rove and the head of the Chamber of Corruption wince.

This is a winning issue.

Wow, how stupid can you be. Endorsement of Amnesty is his DEATH KNELL.

Looks like Roberts escapes from a likely loss.

(Sniffle) the tried-and-true "Heart of Gold Strategy" (sob).

The Kansas City Star reports that candidate Orman supports a path to citizenship. During the debate, Orman reportedly said, "We are not going to find and send home 11 and a half million people -- nor would it be advisable."

NOTE: "Heart of Gold Strategy" means a candidate will suck-up to anything that moves (for a vote).

Orman's opponent said: "Amnesty pusher Orman is trying to take both sides of every issue to hide the fact that Pres Obama and Harry Reid want Greg Orman elected because only a Senate Republican Majority can stop Obama's E/O on amnesty."

Does Orman know how many contagious illegals now in Kansas are carriers of TB, Ebola, Chikungunya, Dengue fever, Norovirus. Hantavirus, Swine flu, Varicella. Variola, E-coli.......or ISIS fighters?

Does Orman know how many disease-carriers are in Kansas communities, schools, in stores and restaurants....handling Kansans' food and merchandise.

DOES ORMAN KNOW:

<><> the medical conditions of those enrolled in Kansas schools....

<><> the contagion status of contaminated Kansas public facilities;

<><> the contagion status of contaminated Kansas public transportation used to transport minors.......

<><> the dangers to Kansans from contaminated illegals in the marketplace, handling Kansans' food, merchandise.

How Eisenhower solved illegal border crossings from Mexico

Eisenhower proved that if you start actively deporting illegal aliens (aka enforcing the law), most of the rest of them will leave before they get caught.

State RINOs obviously hate Brownback, he’s not perfect but the last GOP Governor, Graves, was a RINO dog, not long ago he called the tea party “corrosive”. Brownback is the first conservative Governor in I don’t know how long. The scum can’t stand it, they’d rather have a rat.

There’s also been a poll showing Alaska Governor Sean Parnell leading, that’s the other race where the rats withdrew in favor of an “Independent” (the rat became his LT running mate), in this case an ex-RINO. I very much want this dishonest (and illegal) tactic to fail in the KS Senate and AK gubernatorial races.

There’s a lot of similarly between the 2 state GOPs, strong RINO wings that collude with the democrats.

Not a big fan of Karl Rove, but when all the polls showing Orman ahead by high single digits and all the liberal media where going into spasms of joy, Rove essentially yawned and summarily dismissed them saying Roberts would not only win the race, but do so “easily”. He went on to explain that Kansas is a deep red state and the only reason Orman was ahead was because his liberal past and the fact he was a stealth Obama democrat hadn't been exposed yet and as soon as it was, the polls would fall into place for Roberts. It looks like he may have been correct.....

The Republican Party in Kansas has a sizable liberal wing, a holdover from when Republicans in Kansas were liberals. Some of these people can’t bring themselves to vote for Democrats which is why Orman is running as an Independent. He is, of course, a Democrat from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Of course he is for amnesty, and every other item on the Democrat agenda. Of course he will be 100% behind Harry Reid in the Senate.

His standing in the polls is an illustration of how easily people are fooled, especially when the media are so willing to be co conspirators in the deception. Roberts ads are finally making a difference, but this race will be very close.
