It’s as if a bunch of leftist press, pundits and politicians got together sometime in 2013 and said: “Hey, let’s see just how much political muscle we have; let’s start a full-on campaign to change the Redskins’ team name.”

Using the name Washington for our nation's capitol is besmirching the name of Washington, who sacrificed a lot for this country and loved this country.
A more appropriate name would be Colossus, Leviathan or Skynet City.
It’s only going to piss off those who are concerned about tyranny without a corresponding increase in voting participation from those who might want the team to change the name.
If they are going to change their name, I say call them the Washington Thinskins. It’s a great poke in they eye without an explicit disparagement of any identifiable group.
And the liberals would know exactly what it means every time the team is mentioned.

This is so unconstitutional that it embarrassing to have to even state such an obvious fact!
Really? The FCC needs to tell teams what they should be named? FU FCC...
(Don't forget -- I'm a native American. My antecedants. originally from Europe, have been bearing native children here since at least the 1740s.)
I think they should do it. But dont stop there. Remove all names in reference to Native Americans, that includes teams, cities, states, etc. Completely remove all references so that the Native Americans will not be offended.
Then watch as the next group who is offended wants the same thing. It will get really silly.
