If the GOPE crams another McInsain or Romney down the throats of the base again they will lose again. They are pretty damned stupid in that regard so to see them destroy Cruz and trot out another Bush or Romney again would result in an even worse beating at the polls. But alas the GOPE is NEVER EVER WRONG, so don’t go there or you shall be labeled a purist!

I love Palin. I would be very happy with Cruz/Palin. I know the establishment will freak and I’ll be smiling.

Wasnt Cruz born in Canada? Doesnt that make him ineligible? At least according to some?
The Naturalization Act of 1790 stated that "the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born citizens". (Act to establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization, 1st Congress, 2nd session, March 26, 1790, 1 Stat.L. 103 at 104, 2 Laws of the U.S., ed. Bioren & Duane (1815) 82 at 83.) This act was superseded by the Naturalization Act of 1795, which did not mention the phrase natural born citizen.

“Social Conservatives... are also fiscal conservatives.”
How many of these fiscally / social conservatives in the House and Senate supported Senator Cruz in the effort to stop the increase in the debt limlt ceiling and cut spending? Neither of my two “conservaqtive Republican Senators or Congressman did.

I agree, and I think you have to be more than fiscally Conservative to actually be a Conservative.

I don’t think that’s an unreasoned answer, but I believe that issues have advanced to the point that you have to address them federally, even if it is to demand an end to current practice. Then go back to the state level on many issues.

Possibly; though I do hate pushing things into the federal arena when it is properly handled at the State level.
(I think that THAT is what has contributed to the idea of the federal government being superior to the States [in all things].)

DON'T REPEAT!
It's time we Conservatives changed our strategy.
These RINOs WILL NOT LEAD,and they WILL NOT FOLLOW (except they WILL follow DemocRATs), and they sure as HELL WILL NOT GET OUT OF THE WAY.
SO,
THEY MUST BE REMOVED FIRST, or else we'll just keep getting Marxists/Fascists LIGHT.
We can start by getting more people to CLEAN OUR OWN PARTY.
Vote AGAINST an "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN" every time you get an opportunity to, and that INCLUDES the GENERAL ELECTION.
Throw them out!
And keep throwing them out!
And NEVER let an
"ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN" win.
Then, in the long run, they'll WAKE UP and ONLY run Conservatives!
The
"ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" will NOT get the message
unless THAD COCKROACH LOSES!
It is VITAL that Thad is removed, or the RINOs will do it again, and they may do it again, anyway.
REMEMBER
MISSISSIPPI
I'll take out (vote AGAINST) an
"ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICAN" every time I get an opportunity to, and that INCLUDES the GENERAL ELECTION.
"ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS"SHALL NOT PASS !
It's SIMPLE.
Vote AGAINST "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" !Vote FOR REAL CONSERVATIVE "Tea Party Candidates" !

And what makes you think that?
(sarcasm)
Of course you are 100% correct.
HOWEVER: I think the base might walk more obviously this time. I personally have never failed to (enthusiastically) support the GOP nominee. Not this time. I and many others have come to loathe the GOP.
Except Cruz, that is....
