While a number of businesses are welcoming customers carrying firearms, a Louisiana restaurant has taken it a step further offering an incentive to gun-toting diners.
Bergerons Restaurant, located in Port Allen, is offering a 10 percent discount to any patron packing heat, according to local affiliate NBC33.

I seem to remember something like that but I thought it was about saying prayers before eating. They fall into the same disliked category for libs/progs/socialists/commies.
I think you’re right. It was over getting a discount for praying.
However, in this case they can claim the discount is valid business practice, not discrimination. Customers carrying are providing a security function to the establishment, thereby “earning” the discount. Not discrimination at all. ;-)
Yep. The best boudin outside of Acadiana Parish or Teet’s Supermarket in Ville Platte, La. If he ships product, I highly recommend placing an order for some boudin and sausage.
