“”How many are really still floating around in people’s mouths.””

I still have a mouth full of them and they’ve been there at least 60-65 years. At one time a dentist wanted to replace them all and the procedure for doing that according to regulations would compare with a procedure to get ready to blast off to the moon. For one thing everyone in the office would have to be clothed in biohazard gear. I wasn’t interested....

Great example. That is nothing more than a make-work program for high-dollar gov’t employees.

Probably sooner than later, mercury remediation will be the pretext the EPA uses to dig up cemeteries nationwide. No doubt they'll make it very profitable for progressive government.

Cognitive dissonance alert.
Yo, Big Government nitwits, do you understand that with an incredibly stupid law based on your junk science hoax of anthropogenic global warming you have FORCED mercury filled light bulbs on the citizenry?
Government grown too big is government grown too illogical, trampling all over its own regulations.

Since most of those amalgam fillings were also silver, there should be a bunch of that in the p-traps, too.

This is what happens when you have a bunch of people paid to sit around and come up with stuff they can fine people for.

According to EPA, more than half of all mercury detected in public water treatment plants comes from discarded fillings.

Sounds like proof that no significant amounts of mercury are detected in water treatment plants.

Well, if the EPA says something is dangerous you know one thing: it must be safe!

Gee maybe those pesky Coal Plants aren't causing all the problems they say they are. Maybe the Mercury sources are from other industries / products....
