And I thought this was going to be a Jerry Garcia and John Kahn, and David Grismam thread ... never mind.

I just looked that up, the band was OLD AND IN THE WAY! I will have to find a copy of that music!

I also was just thinking about what my life insurance agent told me. He was telling us about extended care coverage for when you are older and do not want to live in a nursing home.

He said when you are 40, 50, 60 you may say you don’t want to live any longer. But his father was 80 and still wanted to live as long as he could IN his own home. He said care for him was expensive but it is what his father wanted.

After his father had said for all his life that he didn’t want to live to be really old.... he said once you are 70 or 80 or 90 you might change your mind.

So plan ahead, just in case!

....suddenly Sarah Palin's attack on Obamacare's "death panels" does not seem so far-fetched.

How about insightful, precisely correct, brilliant, and brave?

Sarah is a latterday Joan of Arc, the secret love-child of Teddy Roosevelt and Annie Oakley and a direct descendant of Molly Pitcher and Boadicea.

Go Sarah!

The Nazis had a term for this mental disorder......................Useless Eaters....................

Was it the Nazis who coined that one?

Well, Nazis and Communists are ideological first cousins after all ..... a point much obfuscated by NKVD disinformation specialists and their American traitor hacks like Izzy Stone and C.P. Snow back in the early 40's.

Mr. Emmanuel, my grandfather was among the first at Omaha Beach and went all the way to Buchenwald. He slogged off the landing craft with M1 Garand in tow and he fought people like you. Mr. Emmanuel, you are nothing but a cheerleader for the likes of Josef Mengele.

Someone needs to tell Ezekiel that Mrs. Clinton is 9 years away from 75.

Seven years for Bill Clinton...
