Death is an option. She looks like death warmed over.

She ain’t on the obiecare bronze plan, that’s for sure. And she’s wrong about nobody like her out there. There are plenty of left wing socialist/lib/progs out there that are just as wrong as she is. Or even more wrong.

Actually, she is being very realistic, based on her axioms.

Right now, every justice on the court is either Catholic or Jewish. As far as she is concerned, her seat is a “competent Jewish” seat. But if Obama could appoint her replacement, he would likely appoint an incompetent black Muslim, or an incompetent black atheist with Muslim leanings. Think Thurgood Marshall, but more radical, hate filled, and utterly ignorant and hostile to the law.

And this is where the senate matters, because Harry Reid would railroad through any Supreme Court nominee Obama wanted, even the devil himself, which would probably be Obama’s preferred choice.

But all she has to do is to hold out until a new, Republican senate is seated, to guarantee that her seat will be vacant until there is a Republican POTUS. And while her replacement may not even be Jewish, her preferred option, he or she will at least be competent and not hostile to Jews and Israel.

Her opinion is not long held, as she has only had it since Obama appointed Sotomayor and Kagan. This suggests that the two are a lot more radical than they let on, but are biding their time. But the other justices, especially Ginsburg, know what they are really about.

Good thing she’s not an arrogant, self-absorbed piece of crap...

I have to thank her for the reminder of why we need to retake and hold the senate.

I had not considered it from that angle. You may be correct, but somehow I just don’t see her principles running that deep.

Well, Barky got his first lesbian and his first Latina in, so it doesn’t seem he’d have trouble replacing Clinton’s first wizened ACLU lawyer. The toothless GOPe wouldn’t stand in his way, because, unlike the Democrats, they think “a president has a right to his SCOTUS appointments.” Cowards.

As things stand, she needs to stay. If she goes, Obama will appoint the most left-wing activist judge he can and that judge will be making decisions for the next 40 years.

Better the devil we know than the devil we don’t.

As liberal as she might be, what the Democrats could do if they had a free rein on the Court as well probably scares even her.

You’re right. He was in town last week or the week before and made that statement in his talk with students.

The senate needs to be taken back.

I would venture to guess that her reasons for not ‘liking’ the current Senate etal are not quite the same as ‘Ours’.

Remember, there is a ‘ring of nuts’ out there that think the Supreme Court is far too Conservative AND BO just isn’t doing enough of what he promised.

Like the %’s of voters
20/20 Rabid R or D, will pull the party lever no matter what.
20/20 R or D, will more than likely go party line.
5/5 really not sure what they want....this 10% is who all these billions of wasted bucks are aimed at.

Of course if I were a News Channel, I would have to come up with another 10% .

I disagree. If you think that it is because she doesn’t think the court is radical enough, all she has to do is resign and Obama will be able to nominate Bill Ayers, or somebody as bad.
