I was wondering how long it would take before somebody mentioned Elian. Good Job.
That’s touchy one cause I disagreed with them trying to keep the child here against his parent’s wish. We have no right to do that.

Elian’s mother gave up her life so her son could breathe free. His father would rather he live free. The Cuban Govt and the Clinton’s set him back.
Children in cuba are raised by the state- the go away to state schools and come home for holidays.
I will always see a difference between people walking across the border to get away from mere disfunction versus people escaping at great risk to escape marxist tyranny. The Cubans have always been a special case.

The end result for this will probably be what happened to Yugoslavaia. Full-fledged racial war. IMO that’s what TPTB want anyways.
