Screw collateral damage. Just inflict major damage and death. B-52s, B-1’s and even a B-2 would make a major statement while Warthogs could clean up the survivors, esp. if they move in armed vehicles.

Will they kill our pilots if they capture them. Yes. The Pathet Lao communists in Laos killed scores of our pilots who bailed out or who survived crashes. We got only 3 POWs back at the end of the war, plus one who escaped (Dieter Dengler). The rest were murdered in cold blood by the reds.

If we refuse to attack them for fear of losing a few very good men, then the enemy has won by default, i.e. cowardice and fear. THAT IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY OF FIGHTING, EXCEPT UNDER COMRADE IMAN OBAMA AND HIS MARXIST DEMOCRAT SUPPORTERS, INCLUDING MANY OF THE GREAT UNWASHED OF SOCIETY.
