A little-known bill, dubbed “New York is Home,” would offer the most sweeping amnesty available anywhere in the country to nearly 3 million noncitizens living in the Empire State.

They also want illegals to “pay taxes”, why you ask?
Well so when the illegals start paying “taxes” they can then bring out the whole line about how unfair it is they are being “taxed without representation” and they will use this to fore in another “voting block”...

We have turned a nation of citizens into a nation of “sleeping chumps”...
I understand that Dems want illegal immigrants to come in and be citizens so that they can vote and get on the federal dole.
I also understand that “Big Business” is pressuring the GOP to push amnesty, too. The usual explanation for this is cheap labor.
But if the illegal immigrants become citizens, then the minimum wage laws apply, they can join unions, etc., so the “cheap” part of the labor goes away. Also, if they start getting all the free benefits, then they have no reason to work, just like many of the unemployed citizens we already have.
What am I missing? Why does “Big Business” want amensty?

I would also add that in the twisted logic of Demthink, people that go to Walmart and have someone fill out and submit a form to the IRS so they can get a ‘refund’ totaling far more than they actually paid into the system are indeed taxpayers.

yep. And once they get amnesty and start paying taxes, the Dems will start crying “taxation without representation” and demand we give them the vote. Boom, instant permanent Dem majorities.
Im thinking of a federal law that prohibits federal money going to any city or state that pulls stunts like this on behalf of illegal aliens.
Wait until 2016 for this to happen. We need a GOP Congess and Ted Cruz in the White House.

Boy California and New York are running neck and neck on
ignorant liberal policy. If I were from either place I
would be to ashamed to admit it. But that’s just me, I’m sure
there is something one could scrape up to be proud of.
