Israel: We Mourn With US on 9/11

Jerusalem — September 11, 2014 … Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the 13th anniversary of the terror attacks on September 11th, 2001, with a moment of silence and a speech on the threat of Islamic terrorism.

Addressing the 14th World Summit of the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) at the Daniel Herzliya Hotel), Netanyahu reflected on the barbaric attacks on the US, drawing a moral divide between Israel’s response to the attacks and those of the Palestinians in Gaza.

“We remember that day, 13 years ago, and we mourn with you on this day for the thousands who lost their lives in that horrific attack," said Netanyahu.

“All of Israel mourned on September 11th. In Gaza, Palestinians were dancing on the roofs. They were handing out candy. That’s the moral divide – we mourn, they celebrate the death of thousands of innocents.

And then when the US took out Bin Laden, I, speaking virtually for the entire country, congratulated President Obama; in Gaza, Hamas condemned the US, and called Bin Laden a holy warrior of Islam.

That’s the moral divide – we celebrate, they mourn the death of an arch terrorist.”

The Prime Minister also stated that had Al Qaeda had nuclear weapons on September 11, 2001, they would have used it against New York and Washington, D.C.

He further offered his full support of President Obama’s campaign against ISIS (The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) and offered his optimism in defeating them.

On this thirteenth anniversary of that terrible day, please keep us safe and bless all those innocent Americans who lost their lives on that day. Grant that through the passion, death, and resurrection of Your Son that they may share in the joy of Your heavenly kingdom forever.

There are many sites that carry this most famous of the 9/11 memorials, the Steve Golding memorial. After so many years some do not work. If neither site works, look up 'America attacked 9/11." It is well worth your time. It should be required viewing for every American. Be prepared for a good cry.

The second site carries a 'message' and a description of 'that day' in his own words from the creator of the website, Steve Golding, and reference to the Pentagon attack. Be sure to see them. Very powerful.

Steve, may God rest his soul, has since died from respiratory disease sustained on 9/11. God bless you, Steve- and thank you for leaving us this wonderful and moving memorial to the heroes of 9/11.
