We need to stop using ISIS or ISIL and start using “Islamic Calipate” or something like it that spells this out clearly.

Good point. It identifies their objective, the world-wide caliphate. Another example: how many Americans know that "al-Qaeda" means the Base? The base of operations against the West. We never hear what it means from the media. Know your enemy.
