To Mr. Obamas critics, the disparity between the presidents previous statements and todays reality reflects not simply poorly chosen words but a fundamentally misguided view of the world. Rather than clearly see the persistent dangers as the United States approaches the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, they said, Mr. Obama perpetually imagines a world as he wishes it were.
I dont think it is just loose talk, I think its actually revealing talk, said Peter H. Wehner, a former adviser to President George W. Bush now at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. Nothing but lies and distortions from this guy.
This is true of most politicians, particularly the liberal types.
It is satisfying to see that someone who is as misguided as Obama is reaping what he has sown. The voters are also reaping what they have sown.
If we survive this fiasco I hope we learn our lesson, selecting our leaders is deadly serious business.
I have "Conservative" friends who to this day say, "Carter was a good Christian man who was the victim of events".
Any nation that could forget the lesson of electing Carter when we're still paying the bill for his insanity can forget the lesson of Obama in a couple of decades.
