Well Vladimir. “And they that rolleth a stone, it shall return upon them.” - The Good Book
It would be quite the accomplishment. The planes are ancient Mig 21’s with no ground support equipment or armament.
And where are some illiterate sand monkeys going to get fighter flight training?
And they intend to fly a few thousand miles through Russian airspace? Without midair refuelling?
It sounds like a fun plan to watch.
WTI crude is less than $92, while Russia needs over $101 per barrel to break even. Over here, the low oil price can be supported by high fuel prices. In Russia, that is not the case. Meanwhile, Russia’s military is small and weakened in several ways, and many Russians are against Russian military action and conscription. That’s also a weakness for Putin’s allies: Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba and Venezuela.
Oops. WTI crude is less than $93, even (little error correction there).
