Note how global warming has morphed into climate change and it will morph again into into something else. However at its core the global warming /climate change cultists must hold to their core belief that all climate change is man caused by increasing CO2 levels. They cannot abandon this dogma, because it gives them a reason for more government control and an end to fossil fuels. These goals would be totally unreasonable if there was no way to link them to something man caused.
