There are few claims in American politics more misguided than the claim that Barack Obama has caused a resurgence of racism and racial unrest in this country. But it's a claim that you hear too often, for example in remarks last month by U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks of Alabama, who complained that Obama had launched a "war on whites."**
As the AJC's Political Insider reports, the latest to make that kind of argument is Randy Evans, a member of the National Republican Committee and one of the best-connected, most powerful GOP operatives in Georgia. In an interview with an Australian TV show, Evans responded to a question about the Mike Brown tragedy in Missouri by blaming it all on Obama:
"Well, unfortunately I think that we’re at a scenario where we had a president who had, as the first African-American president, an opportunity to really advance race relations in the United States. You know, we’ve had a tortured history in that regard.
And as a result, to have an African-American president, you would have the opportunity for every young African-American to think to themselves, “One day I too can grow up to be president.” Well, that enormous opportunity kind of got squandered, because literally what happened once President Obama took office, African-Americans became nothing more than a political tool – a way to drive up votes among African-American communities and I would say that over the course of his six years we probably have taken more steps backward than we have forward.
So, obviously, Mike Brown is the second. We had Trayvon Martin, which is a similar story — it's similar unrest—and I think for the most part you’d have to say that what’s happened is the net effect, is the actual, open discussion of race has gone underground....

The bastard child is half white, part Indonesian, and part Kenyan with some Arab mixed in . You’d think he was some sort of “saint”. HE IS NOT ALL BLACK.
His SKIN may be “black” but there is nothing about him that is remotely black AMERICAN. Or any-other-color American, for that matter. There is simply NOTHING about this asshat that resembles “American” — his upbringing, his culture, his beliefs, his outlook, his philosophy... and last but not least, likely not even his very birth.

I have notice he has a darker completion lately and the tan jacket helped. It seems he wants to distance himself form the white. I realize that everything is my fault because I am white conservative veteran and retired baby boomer.
At first, he was not the cause of the increase in recent unrest, but as various events unfolded, he was among the first with the Justice Brothers that came running with the gasoline can and to fan the flames. He could have kept his nose out these events but instead he and Holder encouraged the “victim” narrative and made matters worse. The goal....black votes.

Obama: “No, I just said the cops were bad, the guys in Ferguson went ballistic. “
Maybe they’ll love us if we redistribute some more income their way?
Obama has flamed renewed race hatred in three ways. 1. He and his Attorney General have favored blacks and taunted whites in outrageous ways and have twisted facts in the Ferguson and Trayvon cases causing massive black hatred and resentment. The knockout game is one symptom. 2. Whites seeing this and hearing about white privilege in a preposterous stretch to cover all whites Han even Hispanics have declared, “Okay, GD it I am a GD bigot, that n****r has got to go!” 3. Economic difficulties created by this administration mostly hurt white entrepreneurs and favor black government worker and welfare recipients.
Obama became president. Race relations went backwards. Ergo, obama is to blame.
Whites are supposed to shut up and pay up. Fleeced like muzzled sheep. This won’t last forever.
