That ship sailed years ago. In the 1970s we weren’t allowed to carry/keep our assigned weapons and ammunition with us when not on an active range or duty that required a weapon. Off duty your personal weapons were maintained in the armory. That was on a Marine Corps base.

I work in downtown Richmond. There have been a fair number of helicopters landing at VCU Health System hospital in the last hour. I don’t know if they are related to the incident at Ft. Lee or the multiple accidents on I-95 this morning. I can’t really tell from my vantage point.
