Saturday on Fox News Channel's "America's News HQ," network military analyst Ret. Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney told host Uma Pemmaraju that in oder to address the current threat ISIS posses, the Untied States should "go to DEFCON 1, our highest state of readiness and be prepared as we lead up to 9/11," because he warned "we may even see a 9/11/14."

I saw it live -- note this is a Ret. Lt General - and he was very serious, didn't seem like "fear mongering"-- it sounded like there is some serious basis to his "concerns": "ISIS is an existential threat to the US -- NOW"
I think ISIL is busy consolidating in the Mideast right now. I think we are safe for another year.
Purposley pulled down our pants and let these animals into kill our friends family and children, these cretans in charge need to be held accountable if this ever should come about. Allowing this to happen again?

This is at least the second major controversial statement
McInerney has recently made. I’m not saying he’s incorrect, but he’s out on a limb again.
It seems to me that McInerney has cried wolf before. I think the jury is out before we declare these guys to be 10 feet tall.
The General did say we should go to DEFCON 1 NOW.
Recommend watching the video — not very long, but it is very powerful.
As I said, he would not have said what he did, unless there really is “clear and present danger”.
I don’t think ISIS is going to go into heavy planning on how and where to attack. I think it’s going to be random attacks all over the damn place....outside of the norm.
Well, uh; McInerney is the guy who stated on Fox that his inside sources at Boeing had told him the missing Malaysian 730 had landed in Pakistan - maybe it did and maybe it didn’t, but I’m beginning to suspect that his inside tips should be taken with the same seriousness as Dick Morris’s secret inside polliong in the 2012 election - just sayin’.....

They don’t have to launch an amphibious landing on our coasts. Imagine if they just sent 100 men into the US through our open southern border with assault rifles and bomb vests. Then, if those 100 men attacked 25 places where people congregate...
..football games where they check your bags at the gate, but let you get on a packed park and ride shuttle with a backpack.

...schools.
They might not bring down a major building, but they sure could make people fear going out, and our own government would make our lives pure hell after such an attack. Remember that the muzzies only have to do something, and Obama and his pet media will do the real terrorizing.
Not a matter of IF; it’s a matter of WHEN.
A hit on the US a BIG hit would go far in consolidating ISIL and would be a boon for recruitment and put such fear in the Middle East that most would run and very few if any would stand.
