Comment of the day!
I seldom use a phone book to call anyone I have called more than a time or three. I used to type requests orders (RFOs) for my section and remembered every home address, SSN, dates for training. I had to ask a Major if he still lived at his previous HOR since he moved often. He came and said he did.
He watched me as I filled out his and the next RFO. No papers on the desk with that person's info, and he asked where I got the info for the person. I pointed to my head. He said "You could be a dangerous person at most personnel centers". I still know most important phone numbers without electronic devices.
Erm, no.
If you believe this, then I weary for your IQ’s. Not ours.
Its only no1 if you include every last variant, which you can do with almost any name. Mary being a classic example.
Meanwhile in the REAL UK, 96% of it remains NON Muslim, and three parts of the UK remain less than 1% Muslim.
You’d also be wrong.
96% of the UK pop remains non Muslim and 92% remains white, so the drop in IQ is predominantely a native issue.
The drop is due to the drop in standards of education, the rot of all the bad 60’s and 70’s ideas which have corroded education and culture, a culture which seems to get stupider and more selfish each decade.
This is an issue that is far from being dropped on the lap of the Muslims as guilty party.
If anyone has ruined Britain, look no further than the progressive middle class white man and woman.
Right back at ya. You aint the men of 41-45 neither.
Britain is still very much Britain.
And without being patronising, Americans have a very clichéd and stereotyped idea, even today, of what England and Britain/UK (most tend also to think the two are the same) are. Just as I suppose we have a clichéd view of America (I’d argue less, as we are more aware of your culture than you of us).
Britain/England has never been all London fog, Sherlock Holmes, tea and crumpets, the Queen et al. Nor is Scotland all men in kilts, castles and men in woolly jumpers drinking copious whisky. The Ulster Irish don’t walk about spouting romantic poetry, the Welsh don’t walk about singing in close harmony.
Britain has been and remains a working class country.
The REAL Britain is the country of coal mines, steel mills, Saturday afternoon soccer, the pub, TV, central heating, tabloid newspapers, rugby league and union, the Sunday roast, fish suppers, cheap package holidays to Spain, Marks and Spencers, Tescos and The Carry On films.
So when Americans say ‘Britain isn’t Britain anymore’, frankly it NEVER WAS the nation you all thought and think it was and is.
When Americans say ‘Britain isn’t Britain’, the average actual Brit simply smiles wryly.
Statistically speaking that is not true, but we are following your lead sad to say. I remember the pride one felt belonging to a nation. Now it seems lots of folks have bought into this one world, happy family crap.
Well...pip pip !
Lowering the IQ of TWO countries at the same time.
