Michael Brown allegedly beat Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson so badly that the he suffered an orbital fracture and was nearly unconscious before firing his weapon, a source told Fox News Wednesday. The unarmed teenager was killed by gunfire Aug. 9.
“The Assistant [Police] Chief took him to the hospital, his face all swollen on one side,” the news outlet’s inside source said of Officer Wilson’s condition immediately following the altercation. “He was beaten very severely.”
The source, which Fox said is “close to the department’s top brass,” said that when confronted by the police officer and told to stop walking in the middle of the road, Michael Brown and his friend Dorian Johnson ignored the order.
“They ignored him and the officer started to get out of the car to tell them to move,” the source told Fox News. “They shoved him right back in, that’s when Michael Brown leans in and starts beating Officer Wilson in the head and the face,” the individual added....

Fox’s source also added that “solid proof” existed that a struggle for Ofc. Wilson’s gun took place.
And yet the article starts with calling this thug an "unarmed teenager".
Eyewitness accounts make plain that:
1) Michael Brown profaned a police officer who at first simply asked him get out of th middle of the street.
2) Micael Brown refused to get out of the middle of the street.
3) Michael Brown assaulted the police officer when he returned to question Brown, striking him several times in the face
4) Michael Brown ran from the police car after assaulting the officer.
5) Michael Brown turned around and taunted the police officer when he was told to stop.
6) Michael Brown charged the police officer.
7) Michael Brown was killed by gunfire from the police officer.
The police incident report agrees with this sequence of events.
Conversation from two bystanders discussing what happened on a YouTube video agrees with this sequence of events.
The medical report on the officer indicates he was severely beaten about the face and head...beaten almost unconscious...and sustained a fractured orbital bone to his left eye.
Michael Brown was a large, very powerfully built and strong young man who was also a violent criminal and thug.
This officer was heroic in his actions.
After significant injury to himself, and at moral peril to himself, he confronted a violent criminal and attempted to do his duty and apprehend the criminal. He then had to defend his life against the criminal and shoot him.
God bless you officer Wilson, and God keep and keep you.

FOX news picks it up, Hannity and Limbaugh quote it as Gospel....

Read that the Brown’s sidekick is now admitting that Brown charged the officer. The upside of the federal investigation is that it is a federal crime to lie to the FBI. lots of stories will be changing.

Huh? You think that Michael Brown was defending himself from Sergeant Wilson after Wilson shot him, or did I misunderstand you?
About as unarmed as Trayvon. If you got fists and are bent on using them then you are NOT “unarmed.” There are tragic cases of mistaken judgment if not biased assumptions, but this sure doesn’t come within a light year of that.
This is irony, son, irony
In both cases, the “unarmed children” were heavier and taller than the “white” authority figures who had to shoot them.
And they were brawling, this isn’t like an intimidating look or something.
It seems like there was a struggle for the Officer’s gun, and it seems Officer Wilson took a beating to his face and head. After both of these incidents took place Officer Wilson was on his feet and Brown charged towards Wilson. The 21 foot rule can be tricky.
Amen to that!

Does it say Wilson was treated at the scene for his injuries? How was he able to stand there at the scene (from the video)after having almost been knocked unconscious? I’m not doubting he was injured, just curious...
