McConnell, Grimes to Debate (Vanity)

Just read in The Courier Journal (a KY newspaper) that Mitch McConnell and Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes will debate one another on Kentucky Educational Television (KET) on October 13th. Dang, I'd pay to see that. Maybe C-SPAN will carry it. But, I have a question: Is this young lady sharp enough to debate a crusty, old fart who has been in the Senate ever since the day God said: "Let there be light"? Ol' Mitch must be "feeling his oats" if he consented to debate. That's more than Pat Roberts and Thad Cochran will do. Just wondering if this young lady is up to the task.

This is on the "Educational" channel. Prolly the only people who will watch are political junkies who already have their minds made up. BUT, if one of them makes a "gaffe" in the Debate, it will run as a political ad all the way up to Nov. 4. Anybody have a clue?

LOL! Seriously McConnell’s risk is a “gaffe” that disgusts conservatives- unlike the usual Republican gaffes that the media use to turn ‘moderates’ against them.
